Well, I gave up on trying to figure out why the old template wouldn’t work with WP 2.5, so I just wrote a new one from scatch. It’s pretty messy and basic, but it screams when it comes to speed. In fact, all things being equal it should load about 4x faster then the previous page Very cool. I still have to make some plugin changes though. So stay with me.
